Sparksville is the town where the Sparks family live. Mum and Dad are Cinder and Gizmo and have three children; Chelsea, a funky primary school girl, her brother Max, a cool kid and a magical baby called Twinkle who can hover around, even making objects appear and disappear.

They live with their grandparents. Sparktacus is a bright and lively old guy, always inventing wild and wonderful gadgets and granny Stella roller-skates around everywhere. The family has a robot called Forceps and a cat called Zap. There’s never a dull moment in Sparksville.

The Sparksville online curriculum is based around the three cornerstones of language, teaching them naturally through games and learning activities:

• Vocabulary Children build a library of useful, everyday words.
• Grammar They move from short phrases to longer sentences.
• Skits (conversations) They hear flowing English and can practice speaking it.
